HIPAA & Protected Health Information

Simplified RCM operates as a Business Associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). We execute a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every client before any protected health information (PHI) is accessed or exchanged.

PHI is handled only for the purpose of performing the contracted revenue cycle or consulting services, and only by personnel with a legitimate need to access it. We do not sell, rent, or use PHI for marketing.
